Sync contacts — phone, Google, Apple

Bring contacts in from your phone, Google Contacts, or iCloud.

Contact Sync (/admin/clients/contact-sync) brings contacts in from a phone or an address-book account, without exporting a CSV yourself. It's a tabbed page under the Contacts group.

Phone / vCard

  • On Android Chrome, use the contact picker to select contacts from your phone directly.
  • On any device, upload a .vcf file (exported from your phone's Contacts app). It's parsed in your browser and imported in one go.

Names, phones, emails, company, birthday, address, and notes are all brought across.

Google Contacts

  1. On the Google tab, click connect and sign in. HexaFloww reads your My Contacts group.
  2. Optionally choose a segment to add every synced contact to.
  3. It syncs now, then again automatically about every 6 hours.

Only your contacts are read (read-only access). Contacts synced this way are not WhatsApp-opted-in.

Apple / iCloud

  1. On the Apple tab, enter your Apple ID and an app-specific password (create one at appleid.apple.com — your normal password won't work).
  2. HexaFloww verifies the credentials and lists your iCloud address book.
  3. It syncs now, then again automatically about every 6 hours.

All three sources add and update contacts. Removing a contact from your phone or Google does not remove it from HexaFloww.

Common problems

  • Contact picker missing — the browser-based picker is Android Chrome only. Use a .vcf upload instead.
  • Apple sync says "wrong Apple ID or password" — you used your main password. Generate an app-specific password and reconnect.
  • A connection shows an error — the token or password was revoked. Reconnect from the same tab; sync resumes afterwards.
