1. Purpose & Meta Compliance
This standalone Data Deletion Policy explains how individuals and Business Customers can request deletion of their personal data from HexaFloww. This policy is published separately to satisfy Meta's requirement that applications using Facebook Login, Instagram Graph API, or WhatsApp Business Cloud API provide a public data deletion instructions URL or callback mechanism.
2. Scope of Data Covered
This policy covers deletion of:
- Business Customer account registration and login profile data.
- End Customer contact records (names, emails, phone numbers) uploaded to or processed by the Service.
- Conversation history stored across WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, and Email.
- User data obtained via Meta's Graph API upon app deauthorization.
3. How to Request Deletion
3.1 Business Customers
You can delete individual contact records or entire audience segments directly inside your HexaFloww dashboard at any time. For complete account closure and full database purge, submit the request form below or email hi@hexagn.in.
3.2 End Customers (Contacts)
End Customers should ideally submit deletion requests to the Business Customer who collected their details. If submitted directly to HexaFloww via the form below, we will process the deletion and notify the relevant Business Customer.
3.3 Meta App Deauthorization Callback
When a user removes HexaFloww in their Facebook settings (Settings & Privacy → Apps and Websites), Meta sends HexaFloww a signed deletion request callback. Upon receipt, we automatically initiate purging associated Meta user data within 30 days and provide a status confirmation tracking code per Meta guidelines.
4. What Gets Deleted vs. Retained
Upon a valid request, personal data is permanently deleted or anonymized across active databases, subject to limited exceptions:
- Financial invoice records retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax legislation.
- Message payload data already governed by Meta's native 30-day delivery retention or 90-day Cloud API company content deletion cycle.
- Encrypted system backup snapshots, which are automatically overwritten within our standard backup rotation cycle (30 days).
5. Processing Timeline & Contact
Data deletion requests are completed within 30 calendar days of receipt, in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act 2023) and Meta Platform Terms.
