# WhatsApp overview & keeping your number healthy

> Quality rating, messaging limits, and what affects them.

---

The WhatsApp overview page (`/admin/whatsapp`) shows the health of your connected number — its quality rating, how many messages you're allowed to send per day, and any warnings. Keeping these green is what lets you send at scale.

## Quality rating

Meta grades your number **Green**, **Yellow**, or **Red** based on how recipients react — mainly blocks and "report" taps after your messages.

- **Green** — healthy, nothing to do.
- **Yellow** — recipients are reacting negatively. Slow down, tighten your audience, and review your message content.
- **Red** — serious. HexaFloww automatically pauses any sending campaigns on this number and emails your admins. Fix the underlying issue before resuming.

> [!WARNING]
> A Red rating that isn't addressed can lead Meta to restrict or ban the number. The most common causes are messaging people who never opted in, sending too often, and vague or misleading templates.

## Messaging limit (tier)

Your number has a daily limit on how many *unique* customers you can start a conversation with — typically 250, then 1,000, 10,000, or 100,000. Meta raises it automatically as you send quality traffic consistently. Campaigns respect this limit: if an audience is larger than your remaining headroom, HexaFloww either pauses until the limit resets or spreads the send over several days (see [waves](https://hexafloww.com/docs/whatsapp/whatsapp-broadcast.md)).

### Name status

Whether your display name is approved by Meta. A pending or rejected name doesn't stop sending but is worth resolving in WhatsApp Manager.

## How often it updates

HexaFloww syncs this from Meta about once an hour, and immediately when Meta sends a quality or limit change. A short history of quality and tier changes is on the [analytics page](https://hexafloww.com/docs/whatsapp/whatsapp-reporting.md).
