# Social leads — spotting buying intent

> AI flags conversations that look like a sales opportunity.

---

HexaFloww reads every inbound message for signs of buying intent and collects the likely opportunities on the Social Leads page (`/admin/social/leads`). This runs on its own, whether or not AI auto-reply is turned on.

## What a lead contains

- **Contact info** — name, and email or phone if the person shared them in chat.
- **Intent** and a short **summary** of what they want.
- **Lead score** from 1 to 10.
- **Status** and **assigned to**, which you set.

There is one lead per conversation. As the chat continues, the lead is updated rather than duplicated.

## Working leads

Use the filters to focus (for example score 7+ and status "new"). Set a status and an assignee inline on each row, and click **View chat** to jump to the conversation and reply.

### Where leads also come from

- [Flow submissions](https://hexafloww.com/docs/whatsapp/whatsapp-flows.md) — create a lead automatically.
- [WhatsApp carts](https://hexafloww.com/docs/whatsapp/whatsapp-commerce.md) — an order message becomes a lead.

> [!NOTE]
> Lead detection uses AI, so it consumes [AI credits](https://hexafloww.com/docs/getting-started/plan-billing-credits.md). When your balance is empty, new messages simply aren't scored until it's topped up.
