# Replying to Facebook & Instagram comments

HexaFloww brings new comments on your Facebook and Instagram posts into one view so you can reply, and lets you set rules to reply, DM, or hide comments automatically.

> Comment moderation is **Meta only**. WhatsApp has no public comments, and TikTok's API doesn't allow comment moderation for any third-party app. LinkedIn comments are handled in the [LinkedIn module](https://hexafloww.com/docs/modules/linkedin-module.md).

## Replying manually

New top-level comments appear in the comments view. Open one to see the post context and post a public reply. You can also delete a comment from here.

## Comment rules

Rules live on the Meta channel's **Comment Rules** tab (`/admin/connect-accounts/meta/comments`). Each rule watches for a keyword (or any comment) and does one of:

- **Reply to comment** — posts a public reply.
- **Reply + DM** — public reply plus a private message to the commenter.
- **Hide comment** — hides it from other users without deleting it.

1. **Open the Comment Rules tab.** Connect Accounts → Facebook & Instagram → Comment Rules.
2. **Add a rule.** Set the trigger (a keyword or "any comment"), the action, and the message text where relevant.
3. **Save and monitor.** Rules apply to new comments only. Check the comments view to see them working and adjust.

### AI Suggest

When replying to a comment manually, **AI Suggest** drafts a reply from the comment and your company knowledge. You always review and send it yourself.

> Auto-hiding on a broad keyword can hide legitimate comments. Start with narrow keywords and review results before widening them.
