# Glossary

**Organization** — your company account. Holds your team and billing.

**Project (workspace / brand)** — where marketing data lives. Contacts, campaigns, channels, and the inbox are all scoped to one project.

**Segment** — a group of contacts. *Manual* (hand-picked) or *dynamic* (auto-updated from rules).

**Template** — a reusable message design. Email templates are built in the drag-and-drop editor; WhatsApp templates must be approved by Meta before use.

**Campaign** — one send of a template to an audience (email or WhatsApp broadcast).

**Automation (journey)** — a sequence of steps that runs for a contact when a trigger fires.

**Trigger** — the event that starts an automation.

**Enrollment** — one contact's run through an automation.

**Opt-in / consent** — a contact's agreement to be messaged on a channel. Required for WhatsApp marketing.

**Suppression list** — the project's global do-not-send list, per channel. Fills from unsubscribes, bounces, and WhatsApp STOP.

**Quality rating** — Meta's Green / Yellow / Red grade of your WhatsApp number's health.

**Messaging limit (tier)** — how many new WhatsApp conversations you can start per day.

**Free window** — 24 hours after a customer messages you, during which WhatsApp replies are free and don't need a template.

**AI credits** — what AI actions cost. *Plan credits* reset each billing cycle; *top-up credits* don't expire.

**Connector** — an integration that pulls contacts in from an external tool (Google Forms, HubSpot, Shopify, etc.).

**SMTP / SES** — the two ways to connect an email sending account.

**Smart Send** — sending each contact's email at the hour they're most likely to open it.
