# Connect Google Analytics

Connecting Google Analytics lets the Website AI module show your GA4 traffic, acquisition, and engagement data.

> **Before you start**
> - You need the **Admin** or **Manager** role.
> - You need at least **Viewer** access to a **GA4 property** (not an old Universal Analytics property).
> - Your plan must include the Website AI features.

## Connect a property

1. **Open the Google Analytics connect page.** Sidebar → **Connect Accounts** → **Google Analytics**, or go to `/admin/connect-accounts/google-analytics`.
2. **Sign in with Google.** Click connect and choose the Google account with access to your GA4 property. Approve read access.

3. **Select the GA4 property.** HexaFloww lists every account and property you can access. Pick one — a project uses **one property at a time**. You can change it later without signing in again.

## Where the dashboard lives

The connect page only handles the connection and property choice. The GA4 dashboard — traffic, acquisition, devices, events — is at `/admin/website-ai/google-analytics`, and shows a "connect first" prompt until a property is linked. ## Common problems

- **Your property isn't listed** — it's a Universal Analytics property (unsupported), or your Google account doesn't have access to it. Use a GA4 property and an account with at least Viewer access.
- **Dashboard stopped loading** — the Google token was revoked. Reconnect from this page.
